My design experience is quite varied beginning my career as a graphic designer having won the digital designer of the year award in my final year of studying graphic design after which I moved on to working at Hirt and Carter Interactive where I was responsible for designing the look and feel of sites and multi-media projects as well as flash animations and some action scripting. I moved to the UK and after an initial stint as an online assistant at Tower Records I began working at Momentum Productions where I was hired as an Onscreen graphic designer which entailed creating animated elements for TV spots primarily for the film and gaming industry but with shrinkage of budgets in TV advertising we began to take on some more digital work and looking for new digital ventures where I pitched the Idea of using Second Life as a avenue for marketing, after some discussions with Robert Prevezer at The Communications Agency we floated a company to investigate this possibility. Unfortunately this did not prove to be a viable venture as the servers at Second Life would not be able to cope with the amount of traffic to reach our target ROI. I've also designed the occasional banner advert and I have had experience designing for interactive TV, Designing and wire-framing the interface for the Interactive spot for Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy. Currently I work for a company developing enterprise search solutions designing the GUI and wire framing their application which is designed to run on an intranet system. I have a comprehensive understanding of the end user ergonomics and information management. I also have a firm grasp of digital anthropological concepts with regards to W.O.M and Web2.0 within advertising campaigns and strategies.
