The Market has expanded its account handling team with two new appointments following several business wins.

Rachael Taylor joins The Market Family as Head of Family and will be responsible for driving new business as well as developing its product offering in the areas of innovation and insight. She was previously at Red C leading business development and she brings with her 15 years experience in consumer brand marketing.

Sarah Morris has been appointed as account manager at The Market Creative where she will work alongside the team working on Thomas Sanderson and The Fine Bedding Company. Sarah was previously marketing manager at Bolton Wanderers Football Club and has also been an account executive at TBWA.

Sue Benson, managing director at The Market said: “We’re thrilled to have Rachael and Sarah on board to help move the business forward at what is an exciting time for the company. Despite the struggling high street we have grown considerably this year by carving out a niche, providing retail marketing solutions that have delivered success for our clients and led to new business including Thomas Sanderson, Mobalpa and The Fine Bedding Company.

“Rachael is a fabulous all round marketer and also has a strong background in digital, social and direct response marketing. Her ethos of driving results and delivering sales on behalf of clients will make her a perfect match to the rest of the team. She is also a mum of two so is instinctively in tune with many of the target audiences our clients focus on, and love us for.”

Rachael adds: “The Market Family has a unique offering with a wealth of expertise and insight in engaging families. As a mum myself, this appointment is the perfect opportunity for me to use my experience to help brands communicate successfully with families - from conception right through to teenage years.”
