Elior UK wanted to create a new street food concept that would be simple to put into practice across the estate, flexible enough to embrace global cuisines and able to deliver inspiring ‘street food’ dishes at great value. Our objective was to make this happen, creating a branded concept that would capture the hearts and minds of the operators and the consumer.
Response: A major challenge is competing with big brands all in the running to offer their best meal deal yet. To appeal to a nation of brand lovers, we created an inspiring branded menu concept that would take the best bits of the leading high street chains and bring them to life in our customers’ restaurants. Short, sweet and versatile to cover the breadth of the menus, ChU* has the visual cues of fresh ingredients with a hint of traditional ‘street food’ style; from the alleys of Delhi to the streets of New York. Creative materials included a trademarked brand, front of house visuals, step by step recipes and branded takeaway options.
