Client: Park Life Festival
wagamama is well known for offering delicious pan Asian food in its restaurants worldwide and wanted to up the ante on this much-loved format delivering a mouth-watering sensory extravaganza for festival goers in the UK.

Brief: The Tailor of Shoreditch worked with wagamama to create the ‘wagamama lounge’, a unique festival experience combining food, music and art. The lounge features an open-plan kitchen with wagamama chefs cooking up top quality noodles for hungry festivalgoers, as well as an interactive digital graffiti wall and DJ booth. The experience was housed within an eye-catching, origami designed structure to capture the attention of the crowds. Attendees were then able to share pictures/ video and engage with their peers through the newly formed ‘wagamama lounge’ facebook page.

Response: The ‘wagamama lounge’ was launched at Parklife Weekender in Manchester and was a huge success, attracting over 23,000 visitors and has recently returned from Summer Sundae in Leicester. The lounge will return in 2012 were we will be visiting 6 major festivals.
