London Business School is a global centre of academic excellence. The School's website content is managed by a significant number of stakeholders and serves a diverse and truly global audience. As part of a complete website review, London Business School required comprehensive research of their audience needs to be translated into a new information architecture.
Brief: Nomensa used an array of usability services to meet the London Business School's objective. This project required unequivocal evidence of the proposed structure decisions to satisfy all the stakeholder groups. In particular, card sorting exercises were conducted with both prospective students and stakeholders to demonstrate the difference between how an organisation may wish to present information versus how customers really need it.
Response: Nomensa exceeded London Business School's expectations, and presented detailed quantitative and qualitative results. Nomensa also provided a number of research services that identified the needs and expectations of all main London Business School website user groups and a large group of passionate stakeholders. London Business School gained an in-depth understanding of the demographics of their website's audience, their needs and expectations . Understanding such behaviour and motivations has provided London Business School with invaluable information and evidence that will allow London Business School to evolve and improve their website. This provided a research-driven pathway to an information architecture that was user-centred and fully supported by stakeholders. As part of a larger project, Nomensa's usability programme has provided London Business School with an additional platform of knowledge to help in the continual support of development to the London Business School website.
