Working with the main Clarins campaign creative we designed this retail site for 6 key retail houses in the UK as part of the Christmas 2011 promotion.
Brief: Use the Clarins campaign graphic and translate this into a retail site which allows promotion and consultation. Needed to stand out and be inviting and sell hero product.
Response: We had the pleasure of developing and installing the Christmas 2011 brand event for Clarins across six key retail locations in Selfridges London, Manchester and Birmingham along with House of Fraser Glasgow and Manchester and Fenwick’s Newcastle. We took the advertising visual which uses product design features such as branded ribbons & baubles, a concept created by the Clarins Marketing and Design teams and developed it into a 3D functional space which elegantly promotes and retails their gift sets which were hugely popular at that time of year. The focus of the brand event and most impressive design feature consists of a 3 metre high abstract Christmas tree which we produced using fabricated shimmering steel, cascading to look like ribbons of silk falling to the ground. Illuminated graphics and consultation tables complimented the promotion and allowed key products to be highlighted for that time of year. Overall, the area looked sophisticated and captured the essence of the Clarins Christmas above the line advertising campaign. D4R have delivered another unique and crowd stopping brand event for Clarins and we could not be more pleased with the result!
