adidas London 2012 Concession, Harrods

Following on from the successful 2012 pop-up-shop we implemented for adidas in Harrods last October, D4R have just designed, developed and installed a brand new concession site for adidas on the 5th floor of the Knightsbridge store.

Brief: Design and install a London 2012 branded concession area for clothing and accessories and raise brand awareness for the Olympics.

Response: On entry to the concession you notice the vast area which displays the entire range of adidas and event branded apparel, accessories and footwear with a premium backdrop you would expect from a Harrods environment. Visual merchandising is apparent throughout the space and clever use of contra vision graphics applied to glass shards adds a subtle creative finish allowing good visibility across the sports floor. The graphics used are a great mix of heritage meets new, with Team GB’s Olympic hopefuls alongside Olympic greats of the past such as Daley Thompson. The whole space is inspiring and aspirational and gives hope to the next few months in the run up to the Olympics! There is a strong sense of brand awareness for both adidas and the Olympics and we are pleased we get to play our part in such an iconic event.
