One stop sports shop Kitbag.com has appointed the7stars to handle its media planning and buying account with immediate effect.

The7stars will manage Kitbag’s planned spend in 2013 across print and digital.

The agency will launch Kitbag’s ‘Equipped’ brand campaign digitally and in press, aimed at growing the business and exposing it to new audiences. Previously, the Kitbag account has been managed internally. The Corner will be handling campaign creative. Andy Anson, CEO at Kitbag said: “The7stars demonstrated the imagination and creative flair necessary to do a great job for Kitbag.  “This will be our most significant investment in advertising to date, so it was essential that we found an agency that was a perfect fit for the business.

We are excited to be working with the7stars, and we’re looking forward to a big year for Kitbag in 2013.” Sam Farrand, account strategist at the7stars added: “Kitbag is one of the few brands that can legitimately talk about expertise in the sports sector, and has grown impressively to date with very little advertising spend.  

By introducing Kitbag to a wider audience in 2013, we are confident that we can build on all their good work and take the brand to the next level.”
