The Market Creative has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of a Marketing Director and Client Services Director.

The Market Creative has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of a Marketing Director and Client Services Director.

Julie Jones has spent the last five years as Head of Marketing at Contra Vision. In her new role as Marketing Director, she is responsible for growing The Market Creative brand and its product offering.

Theresa Baker joins with more than 18 years' global experience from agencies in the UK and North America, including gyro Manchester, DLKW, AMV BBDO and Cossette Communications. In her new position as Client Services Director, she will be the senior client lead on brands such as Sharps, Silentnight, Aggregate Industries and Buildbase as well as oversee client services across all accounts. She will be responsible for delivering best practice and efficiency throughout The Market Creative and proactively driving the agency’s contribution to the success of its clients.

Sue Benson, Managing Director at The Market Creative said: “Theresa and Julie are two inspirational and extremely talented people in their own fields. They’ll play a key role in the development of the agency as we grow and continue to deliver an exceptional service to our clients.”

Julie previously worked with The Market Creative owners Sue and Dorina D’Ambrosio at McCann Manchester. She said: “I have so much respect for Sue and Dorina, not only in what they have achieved but their commitment to deliver great service to clients. I was delighted to be asked to be part of such a talented team. I’m looking forward to being back in the agency world; never having enough time or enough sleep but delivering great work in an energising environment.”

Theresa added: “I am really excited to join the The Market Creative. The Market Creative has also recently promoted Lead Copywriter, Phi Monks, to Deputy Creative Director.


The agency employs a 22-strong team at its offices in Trafford Park, Manchester. It has just achieved the IPA CPD standard, reflecting the team’s high quality of expertise and its commitment to investing in people.
