Staffordshire-based digital marketing agency TAMBA has appointed a new creative director to their team after a series of major new business wins.

Staffordshire-based digital marketing agency TAMBA has appointed a new creative director to their team after a series of major new business wins.

Jon Harrison joins the award-winning viral and social media specialist after 2 years as Production Director at Stickee where he produced high profile campaigns for BSKYB, McCains, ITV, Casio and Harper Collins. Prior to that, Jon worked for many years in the animation and games industry with stints at Blitz Studios, Runecraft and Gremlin Graphics.

In a career spanning over 25 years Jon has worked on over 180 games titles and several 3D animation projects for TV and the big screen. In 1996 he co-designed the world’s first 3D pinball simulator and was a pioneer in the use of Silicon Graphic machines within the games industry. Jon has also worked on several broadcast projects including Spooks and Fightbox for the BBC and major adverts and promotional films for LEGO. As a fully skilled traditional illustrator Jon’s work has also been seen in many published books, comics and websites.

News of the appointment comes after the recent announcement that TAMBA had been tasked with the social media strategy for drinks brand, VK.
