DARE continues to strengthen its technology credentials with the appointments of Joe Price as head of .NET and Bongani Ndlovu as Technical Director.

Bongani joins from Havas Worldwide, where he was senior software engineer and technology lead. He will be responsible for overseeing DARE’s engineering teams across all its hubs in developing technology driven projects/products. Ndlovu has a background in electronics and 3D product design, and has previously worked as a senior Flash developer at RAPP.

Price will be responsible for leading and continuing to grow DARE’s .NET capabilities. As a web developer with over eleven years of experience, Price joins DARE from digital agency Lightmaker, where he was lead technical developer.

Bongani will form part of the management team and will report directly to Michael Olaye.

Michael Olaye, CEO at DARE, comments: “Bongani & Joe are exceptional talents who bring a wealth of experience and a mix of valuable skills and interests with them to match DARE’s aggressive technology growth plan”

“Joe’s expertise in using and implementing both licensed and open-sourced frameworks for .NET specifically makes him an ideal leader for this area of our work, while Bongani’s experience establishing an engineering team specialising in a broad technology spectrum is the perfect fit for the technical director role at DARE.”

“Their appointments will further strengthen our technology capabilities and ensure that DARE is well placed to help make brands more efficient, more effective and more creative.”

Joe Price, head of .NET at DARE, comments: “It is an exciting time to be joining DARE, as it continues to push the envelope and deliver industry-leading technology solutions for brands. I’m thrilled to be joining DARE on this journey and taking on a new role overseeing and building on its first-rate work using the .NET framework.”

Bongani Ndlovu, technical director, comments: “DARE has created an environment where creativity and craft come together to create exceptional work. In taking on this new role, I’m looking forward to growing DARE’s offering even further and help create and deliver technology-driven projects and products that we can be incredibly proud of.”
