CMW Creates Social Media App For Kingsmill

The new social media app from CMW and Kingsmill is designed to help parents organise their days out during the summer holidays

CMW, the digitally-led creative agency, has teamed up with Kingsmill to develop a new social media app that helps parents organise a day’s worth of activities for their children.

Building on the brand’s existing ‘fresh thinking’ proposition, which centres around clever little ideas that make life easier, the app takes the hassle out of arranging fun family days out for parents. Supported by a partnership with Away with the Kids, the travel directory for family holidays, the six-week campaign will run for the duration of the school holidays.

The creative is based on memorable family moments and its easy-to-use regional mapping allows parents to find local attractions near their home or further afield.

Nikki Bottomley, assistant brand manager, said: “The holiday period provides families with a precious opportunity to spend time together. However, finding something that keeps all the family entertained is a tricky task and we’re confident that this app will help them find the perfect activity.”

Liz Wilson, chief executive, CMW said: “The Kingsmill brand brings fresh thinking to family life and Easy Escapes is a great example of understanding parents’ needs in order to be useful and engaging at the same time.
