Clear Marketing Powers New Multimillion Pound Hoover Campaign

After a competitive pitch, Clear Marketing has won a significant piece of business with Hoover, appointed as the renowned brand's lead creative agency.

Creative Director Chris Gaffey has created charming animated characters that navigate daily chores with the help of Hoover. The TV campaign Hoover, that’s who’ aired for the first time during the series finale of The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4 and will run throughout November in 30”, 20” and 10” formats, underpinned by digital and press executions. It will air in the UK and across Europe.

Speaking on the appointment Antony Peart, Director of Brand and Communications at Hoover Candy Group, said: “Innovation is at the heart of Hoover. With this TV campaign, the first since 2015, we were looking to convey just how important appliances are to daily life, promoting the considerable benefits of connected products"

The campaign follows a 12 week production process and combines hand drawn 2D animation and 3D CG animation, created by a significant animation team here in the UK and in France.

The music composition blends instruments and sounds that represent the digital technology of the products whilst generating a warm and homely atmosphere.

The appointment is the latest win for Clear Marketing, who has also worked with CALA Homes, Pets at Home, Thomas Cook and Topps Tiles.
