Senior Marketing Manager for the BOSS Federation and the BPIF, chose Mirri to produce an invitation for their annual Chief Executive Officers Conference to excite and attract members to the event.
The BOSS Federation is the trade association, which serves the UK office supplies and services industry by providing a range of initiatives, cost saving benefits and services, to enhance the business performance of its members.
Helen Dunn, Senior Marketing Manager for the BOSS Federation and the BPIF, wanted to produce an invitation for their annual Chief Executive Officers Conference to excite and attract members to the event. This year the conference was held on Thursday the 13th of June at Stationers' Hall, in London and was hosted by Sir Clive Woodward OBE, the Director of Sport for Team GB.
Helen chose to use the recently certified ‘Mirri Pak for HP Indigo’ for the base material of the invitation. The material has been certified for use on the HP Indigo machines including; 5000, 5500, 5600, 7000, 7500 and 7600 series. The finished invitation was produced landscape at 297mm x 99mm and was printed on 415mic/280gsm weight Mirri material.
The CEO Conference invitation was digitally printed by leading London based digital printer, 1st Byte, using an HP Indigo printer with 2 colour process on the front and 1 colour on the back.
Jennifer Deacon, Marketing Manager for Mirri, commented; “It was great working with the BOSS Federation once again, and using the new Mirri Pak for HP Indigo as an invitation really shows the materials versatility. And because the ticket was digitally printed, it meant that 160 copies could be printed with minimal need for make ready sheets.”
The invitation was finished by 1st Byte with a matt lamination to the Mirri side, creating a clean and high-end look, whilst on the back of the invite an in-line sealer was used.
Helen commented; “The finished invite looks stunning. The way the print has let through the silver Mirri is fantastic and just gives it that high-end premium look we were looking for.”
Lawrence Dalton, Managing Director of 1st Byte, added; “We have used the new Mirri Pak for HP Indigo for a lot of high-end pieces, and with the expertise that we have now gained from printing onto the material, we are able to create unique and beautiful pieces like this invite easily and efficiently.”
