After a competitive pitch against nine other agencies across the region, integrated communications agency, Five by Five, has won the tender to handle marketing and PR for the Bournemouth International Centre and Pavilion Theatre for 2010.
Five by Five has been tasked with promoting the fantastic range of events that both venues have to offer, as well as the great conference facilities at the BIC. This will see them look to drive awareness across appropriate media channels and begin to move in a fresh direction for the BIC.
Part of Five by Five’s remit will also be to work with the Bournemouth International Conference Bureau on marketing projects, promoting the town as a premier business and meetings destination to the national conference and exhibition market.
Clive Tyers, Head of Conferences, Exhibitions and Events at the BIC said of the appointment: “Five by Five demonstrated their professionalism and full service marketing expertise at the tendering stage and we’re excited about them coming on board. The team showed a great understanding of the different areas that we operate in; be it leisure, entertainment, conferences, exhibitions or events. Working with an agency of their size means we will be working with specialists in every area within the marketing mix, from Advertising to Public Relations.”
Five by Five’s Head of Media, Michele Masters is thrilled to commence work: “We are excited to implement some creative media campaigns for the BIC and Pavilion to raise the profile of their great array of events and conference facilities and really drive footfall to the venue, as well as creating a great online campaign to ensure the BIC reaches a new audience.”
