A cover image also used internally on the accompanying spread for Acc Docket Magazine, a US Law Journal for an article on making the 'Jump' to working for a Non-Profit Organization.  As it was for the July/August issue I decided on an Olympic metaphor as a solution.

The image was hand drawn and rendered with various printmaking and painted textures in Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator.
